Appointments
Same day Appointments
There are 4 same day telephone appointments every day in the morning. Please ring at 8.00am to request.
Routine appointments
Initially this will be a 10 minute telephone consultation and once the doctor has spoken with you they will decide if you need a face to face appointment and ask reception to book it. Issues requiring an examination may be booked face to face. Appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance. Each appointment is for one issue only.
Continuity of care for long-term medical problems
We believe that continuity of care is very important, particularly for people with long-term medical problems. We also appreciate that you like to be able to see the doctor or nurse of your choice. We therefore encourage you to book your appointments in advance where possible. As the doctors work part-time and are not available every day, it may be advisable to share your appointments between two doctors at the surgery. If you have problems getting an appointment to see your usual doctor, please discuss this with reception; we will do our very best to accommodate you.
Urgent/ emergency appointments
These can be booked on the same day on a first come first served basis. Please phone us at 8.00am to book an emergency appointment. Please note that these appointments are made with the first available doctor and are for urgent medical concerns that need to be seen without delay. They are not for routine matters.
Home visit requests must be made as early as possible in the morning and will be fitted in by the Doctor as appropriate.
Booking appointments online
We have increased the number of online appointments available. These are for TELEPHONE CONSULTATIONS ONLY. There is a notice at the top of the booking page regarding the booking of online slots. It outlines the times you will be called depending on whether you have booked an AM or PM appointment.
